The album is a gorgeous mix of obscure deep disco, electronica and leftfield chilled out vibes that will be appreciated by hardcore fans of those genres and soundtrack aficionados alike.There is a really cool remake of 'Things Are Gonna Get Easier' which was originally recorded by The Five Stairsteps and has since been reworked by everyone from Tupac to Destiny's Child. This is my favourite remake and the stand out track on the album.
There are some other bombs on here though. I adore 'Love Love Love' and the deep disco track 'At Last I am Low' is filled with an energy that kinda makes you wanna nod your head rather than get a groove on.
Their sound seems to have this feeling running like a theme through the album, something that they can explain, "We tend to be the strange kind of party visitors. The ones that would rather stand around and watch people dance rather than dance themselves. Therefore we have developed a way to dance while not moving. This technique is the basis of all we do. We Call it low motion disco."
So there you have it. Whatever it's called it sounds like the fucking bomb and that's really all that matters!
